It is that time of the year that the Board of Directors are preparing to hold our annual membership board meeting. At this meeting, we will be electing new board of directors for the 2015 spring and fall baseball and softball seasons.
Bluffton Youth Sports board of directors will consist of not more than 11 members. These roles may include President, Vice President, Secretary, Treasurer, Player Agent, Safety Officer, Information Officer, Coaching Coordinator, Sponsor/Fundraising Manager, Concession Manager and Public Relations/League Promotion.
There is an executive board that consists of at least 3 but not more than 5, 1 of which is the league President. These positions are held by members who have served for at least 1 year on the general board before being eligible to hold an executive position.
If you are interested in serving the youth of Bluffton in our baseball and softball program, please fill out the form and return it by October 22nd.
We will be holding our general meeting on Wednesday, November 5th at 7pm in Fellowship Hall at Lowcountry Presbyterian Church located at 10 Simmonsville Rd. This is the meeting where the open positions on the board will be elected for 2015. All members who are registered with BYS in the 2014 spring or fall program are invited to attend this meeting to voice your concerns and place your vote for new board members. Once the new board is elected, positions will be selected from and by the 11 board members at the following board member meeting.
The board of directors currently meets twice per month. Board members must be able to attend meetings regularly and we are flexible on the dates that work for the greatest number of the board members. Duties include but not limited to…..

Bluffton Youth Sports is operated 100% by volunteers. We all have kids playing baseball and/or softball in the program and work to make the program the best it can be. We thank you for allowing us to serve you and your children as the board of directors for Bluffton Youth Sports.
